Based in Twentynine Palms, California, Duotone is a collaboration between designers and printmakers Teri Rommelmann and Rick Granados. With backgrounds in graphic design and fashion, we blend our expertise to create fine art, delving into non-figurative geometric abstraction across paper, wood, steel, and textiles. From our high desert studio, our process is often experimental and playful, embracing the magic of chance and unexpected discoveries.

Our Process
We embrace a unique approach to serigraphy. Our process blends traditional techniques with innovative expressions, creating works that are not predefined but are born from the impulses of each moment.
We forgo premeditation, allowing each piece to unfold organically as part of our improvisational spirit. Our artworks are crafted from a dynamic lexicon of geometric forms, forming a loose but intricate visual language that constantly evolves, combines, and recombines. This method defies straightforward interpretation, with each creation emerging as a pure abstraction.
Our pieces are visual explorations that capture the dynamic interplay between form and color. Every artwork invites an open-ended conversation, encouraging viewers to discover their own meanings and forge personal connections.
Rejecting traditional editions, we celebrate the singular beauty of each creation, ensuring no two pieces are alike. By steering clear of mass replication typical of conventional print series, we ensure each artwork stands as a unique expression.
